The four slide shows below are of Dalian. So far of all the cities I've been to in China Dalian and Guangzhou are neck and neck for my favorite city.
The first show is of various areas of Dalian taken at random and many of them at night. Dalian is very beautiful at night.
The second show is of some of Dalian's neighborhoods taken at random.
The third show is of The Dalian Botanical Gardens neighborhood. Admittedly my experience with Dalian is limited but I think if I were fortunate enough to be able to live in Dalian I'd choose this neighborhood. It's quiet and peaceful and overlooks a beautiful garden. Hao ri zi / life is good.
